Section 28: (RCS) Rehab and Community Support for Children with Cognitive impairments and Functional Limitations
Rehabilitation & Community Support Services are for children up to the age of 21 who have an intellectual developmental disability that affects their everyday functioning. Disabilities including an autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, Retts Syndrome, Down Syndrome.
Services include skill building in activities of daily living and behavior management, by working in the home and community on goals identified in a treatment plan.
Who’s Eligible?
Children between the ages of 0-21 who are currently enrolled in Maine Care and live in Maine.
All referrals and forms are available through DHHS’ central office.
